At the time we were there they had buried or transfered the remains of 50 people to Peter and Paul Cathedral or the Grand-Ducal Burial Vault in the grounds, 46 of them were from the Romanov Dynasty. The one for the Grand Duchess Alexandra Georgiyevna, daughter of King George I of Greece, is empty after her body was reburied in Athens in 1939.
